1.Q:what are LEDs ?

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when electrically forward biased. The color of the emitted light depends on the composition and condition of the semiconducting material used, and can be infrared, visible or near-ultraviolet.

2. Q: What are the advantages to using LED lights?

LEDs bring several advantages to the lighting industry, including high efficiency and durability, and, with superior life over other lamp sources, their required maintenance is greatly reduced. This translates into energy savings, maintenance savings and an overall reduction in cost of ownership over the product's lifetime.

3.Q:Could I put LEDs into my existing light fittings?

Yes.Planet Power LEDs come in a range of bases and sizes to fit most commonly-used existing light fittings with the exception of tube lights and G24 (fluorescent tube replacement) bulbs, which do require the starter being removed and the ballast removed before they can be installed. This work needs to be carried out by a qualified electrician to retain the warranty.

4.Q: How long do your LEDs last?

Our LED lights use the top LEDs brand of Taiwan(it also can be changed to Cree, Edison,ect. if our customer requirement). It may last up to and, in many cases, beyond 50,000 hours – that is, between 5 to 6 years of constant use, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Our LED flashlight use Cree LEDs, and life span up to 100000 hours. 

5.Q: What color in Kelvins temperature are your white LED products?

Our warm white LED products are made in 3000K or 4500K, while our cool white is about 6000K

7.Q: Do you provide warranties for your products?

Our LED Lighting warrants all our products for 3 years from date of order.
